Author Lecture:

All Ways a Woman

Lynn Centeno and Carol Mann  All Ways A Woman

With Lynn Centeno and Carol Mann

Join us on Wednesday, March 14th for an Author Lecture with watercolorist Lynn Centeno and  author/poet Carol Mann. They will discuss their book All Ways a Woman. This collection of original poetry and art depicts a woman’s journey through life: her thoughts, her loves, her many roles, her dreams and desires. Each poem is paired with a watercolor to capture a special moment within that journey. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. in The Learning Center (TLC).

Both intimate and all-embracing, the book is a tribute to women from all walks of life who daily reach into themselves and out to each other to cope, live their lives, contribute, and survive. The last poem in the collection, "The Gift of the Gathering," is a final homage to all women. At its heart, All Ways a Woman is a book for the woman who, in a quiet moment, delves within herself to reflect or understand or remember, and who knows she is in all ways a woman.

Carol Mann is a published author. Her short stories, essays, and poetry can be found in literary journals, anthologies, and magazines. Her blog is Written Beneath the Palms.

Lynn Centeno is a juried watercolorist. Her art is held in private collections and can be seen in galleries and exhibits such as at the La Quinta Museum. Her blog is The Artistry of Lynn Centeno.
