Animal Samaritans SPCA, Inc.
Incorporated in 1978, Animal Samaritans SPCA is a non-profit organization serving the Coachella Valley and beyond. It is a full-service animal welfare facility with Low or No-Cost Spay/Neuter and Vaccination services, "no-kill" Shelter, animal Adoption, Humane Education, and Animal Assisted Therapy.
Humane Society of the Desert, Orphan Pet Oasis
A Non-Profit organization surviving solely on donations. We were established in 1961 to create a safe haven for the homeless abandoned and abused pets. Caring for more than 150 voiceless victim’s everyday. We are a rescue and pet placement organization that is made up of our volunteer Officers and Board Members, and a small paid staff to care for our animals daily. Orphan Pet Oasis is a NON-KILL facility and animal sanctuary.

Palm Springs Police Department Animal Control
Animal Control's mission is to allow pets, people, and other animals to coexist in harmony; and to assist animal owners and non-animal owners to a peaceful co-existence. Animal Control attempts in many ways to protect people and property from being damaged by roaming and uncontrolled animals. Also, Animal Control tries to protect animals and pets from the dangers that they can face while being loose in our urban setting.
Performing Animals Welfare Society (PAWS)
A place where abused, abandoned or retired performing animals and victims of the exotic animal trade can live in peace and contentment. PAWS is a true sanctuary -- a permanent home where animals come first. Founded by former Hollywood animal trainer and author, Pat Derby, and partner, Ed Stewart, PAWS maintains 3 sanctuaries for captive wildlife -- 30 acres in Galt, California, the 100-acre Amanda Blake Wildlife Refuge in Herald, California and ARK2000, 2300 acres of beautiful natural habitat in San Andreas, CA.

American Animal Hospital Association
An international association of more than 32,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals. Established in 1933, AAHA is well known among veterinarians and pet owners for its standards for hospitals and pet health care. Over 3,000 veterinary hospitals voluntarily participate in the AAHA hospital evaluation program. Trained consultants regularly visit these hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA's standards for services and facilities. Individual veterinarians can also be members of AAHA.
